The above sample is 6mm wide satin stitch on my sewing machine

The length of the varigation is between a yard and a meter in length (from center of dark to center of dark) as best I can tell.

I used all 3 weights in my sewing machine to see how they would do and so you could better see how the varrigation.

• The pink on top is 28wt.
• Blue second is 40wt. notice the stitches needed to be closer due to finer thread so the varrigation bands are shorter.
• The center purple is 50wt. with even closer stitches and shorter bands.
• The top multi is 50 wt. and the bands are very small.
• Bottom is 28wt multi.
